Just like you, I spent countless hours trying to recreate sounds from tracks I loved — and kept coming up short. The lead didn't have that warmth. The stab didn't hit right. Something was always missing.
I didn't give up on it. I spent weeks — sometimes on a single sound — figuring out why classic hardware synths sound the way they do, and how to get that same feeling out of Serum. Most of what I tried didn't work. The presets in this collection are the ones that did.
In the meantime I've been producing harder styles professionally — releases on Rave Culture, Dirty Workz, Q-Dance, Scantraxx, Kontor, Universal and Warner, played at Defqon.1, Reverze and Decibel.
